The Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks (MECP) has issued the final Hazardous and Special Products Regulation under the Resource Recovery and Circular Economy Act, see link below.

The MECP extended the Municipal Hazardous and Special Waste transition date, including Product Care Industry Stewardship Plan programs by three months to September 30, 2021. The HSP Regulation is scheduled to take effect October 1, 2021.
