Revised Environmental Handling Fees (EHFs) for BC Paint and Household Hazardous Waste Stewardship Program (for paint and pesticides only) come into effect on October 1, 2017. The current EHFs for these products continue to apply to sales made up to and including September 30, 2017. The fee rates are set by PCA’s board of directors, which includes leading industry representatives, and not by government.
The table below outlines the revised EHFs.
